There's lots of ways to help!
- SOCCER COMMITTEE MEMBER - Do you want to get more involved with our community, meet more parents and help lead our youth soccer program into the future? If so, consider joining the FRG Rec Council! We are in need of parents to help coordinate our soccer program and other director positions are open as well. Please reach out to soccer@frgreccouncil.com if you want to get involved!
- COACHES - Volunteers are needed for all levels. Coaches will lead practices, coach games and be the primary point of contact for parent communications. Don't worry if you've never coached soccer before - we will provide you with the support you need! Coaching is great way to get involved with your kids, your kid's friends and their parents!
- UNIFORM COORDINATOR - Responsible for organizing soccer kits for kids at all levels. Includes bundling correct sizes of shirts, shorts, and socks into ziplock bags with player names to hand out within the first week of practice.
- PICTURE COORDINATOR - Responsible for booking photographers, coordinating picture day and distributing picture orders to the teams.
- FIELD STRIPER - We have 4 soccer fields and the stripes need to be maintained weekly during the season. Striping is as simple as pushing a cart in a straight line. For each field, initial measuring & striping takes ~90 minutes at the beginning of the season and weekly striping takes ~30 minutes.
- SNACK SCHEDULE COORDINATOR - Responsible for coordinating snack schedules for each team. (ex. Sign Up Genius, etc)
Volunteer Coaches get free registration and all other volunteers get $50 off the price of one registration.
